[BREAKING] Chungha Accused of Reverse-Bullying

Former IOI member and breakout soloist Chungha has come under fire recently for allegedly 'bullying through compassion' by her peers.

Seoul, South Korea via SBS News—Former IOI member and breakout soloist Chungha has come under fire recently for allegedly ‘bullying through compassion’ by her peers.

Sources say that multiple idols have began to speak up about how Chungha’s reputation for affability and thoughtfulness is creating a standard that they feel they can’t live up to, creating stress and mental anguish in their daily lives.

While no idols were willing to go on record officially to call Chungha out for her campaign of ‘Killing them with kindness’ several were willing to give statements provided we obfuscate their names.

I was sharing a dressing room with Chungha before the SBS Gayo last year, and I’d just finished scolding my makeup artist to tears for using an Aztec Gold eyeliner pencil instead of Goldmine, which is totally my color, when I look over and she’s sharing a plate of tacos with her makeup artist. She even made the tortillas herself, who does that? Nobody ever offers me tacos.

I’ve been openly dating another idol, and we were hanging out after she had just performed with her group on M Countdown when Chungha came up to us and wished us a happy one year anniversary. She even gave us flowers and cupcakes, which really put me on the spot because I’d completely forgotten it was our anniversary. My busy variety schedule keeps me from focusing on those kinds of details. How did she even know? I was in the doghouse for weeks after that.

I have been trying to set up a collaboration with Chungha for over a year, but her reputation in the industry is so great and there’s so much demand for her time that I’m no closer than when I started. It’s a real blow to your self-worth, you know? She has me feeling nugu.

Even those that have gone as far as to call Chungha out on her behavior haven’t found the relief they’ve sought.

I walked right up to her and called her a c***. I mean, where does she get off, being adored and loved by everyone for being nice and making the rest of us look bad? She took my hand and sat me down and asked if everything was alright with me, and like, stopped whatever she was doing to listen and offer me her shoulder to cry on. I felt so much better afterwards, she was like an older sister, a perfect older sister you hate because she’s so perfect.
