[NEWS] ARMYs celebrate as BTS member Jungkook’s single, “Euphoria” hits #1 on iTunes for Mavoru — World’s Smallest Nation

All 502 citizens of Mavoru are very proud to have been part of this historic achievement, particularly the 3 BTS fans who flew into the small country to set up iTunes accounts for the residents. Life has been tough for the Mavoruans after 15 hurricanes wrecked their shores this past year, but streaming Dynamite 24 hours a day will be sure to cheer them up.
Just another thing to add to Jungkook’s list of achievements!

MAVORU—This is the song’s 113th #1 on iTunes and it marks the group’s fifth solo to reach this point. They are now the first Korean boy band with two members from Daegu to ever have achieved such a record.

Incredibly, this is not the only international record BTS has broken in the past 24 hours.

As of 2021, they are now the second most streamed boy group on YouTube in the United States who’s name starts with a B and ends in an S. Furthermore, their b-side Black Swan has recently become their eight song to pass 200 million streams on Spotify, marking the one and only time a song with the lyrics “do your thang” has ever achieved this.

It seems they are truly paving the way for boy groups with an average weight of 140 pounds on all platforms.

We intercepted BTS on their way to a private schedule and asked them for comment on these monumental records. BTS leader Namjoon stated, “Good job, ARMY!” and gave a heart to the camera as he dodged around our reporters.

On his way out, he could be heard mumbling, “Why the *** would we care about that?”
