SEOUL – Big Hit Entertainment, the world-class label behind BTS, said it has successfully filed naming rights to “Behind The Scenes.” Citing its perpetually trending hashtags and acronym employed by the label’s zealous ARMY, film studios and producers from around the globe agreed to sell naming rights to “Behind The Scenes.”
“We willfully agreed to sell naming rights,” commented an executive from a major film studio who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “We totally weren’t afraid of the insurmountable tide of angry online fans who were upset with us for misusing a naming convention that predates the existence of the group by several decades.”
Bang Si-hyuk, CEO and founder of Big Hit Entertainment, commented that the move builds on BTS’ continuing legacy. At recent award shows, BTS was selected for Best Male Group, Leaders of the Free World, and Human Representatives at the Galactic Federation of Planets.
At the time of writing it is unknown whether the complete worldwide film industry is a fan of BTS, but if not, maybe they’ll try listening to their music now.
